While much of the hype media and arranged this year was around LED-backlit TVs, 2010 could be the year of the plasma resurgence - and 50-inch original flat screen technology is King.
The reasons are triples.prix, size, and 3D.With the planet still mired in a mild depression, price has never been more important - and plasma TV are significantly better value than the LCD TVs to the size of 50 inches (look at the prices in our list of evidence boost).
Secondly, the demand for larger televisions is rising, making plasma yet more attrayant.Et to cap it all off, the most impressive of the first generation of 3DTVs - some presented here – have been based on plasma tech.
This is not to say that retro - lit LED - LCD television is a false dawn, because there were some wonderful examples of high-end 52 inch size (step before Sony), but you will pay if you look past plasma.

While it is certainly possible to find fault with the PS50C6900, there has also been much goes, including beautiful eyes, tons of connections, abundant amounts of multimedia support and of course full HD 3D support, all built in with a free pair of sunglasses to start.

Sony ups the ante with this 3D-ready LED-backlit LCD TV
Sony has increased its stake in 2010 by adding more features and a new conception of "Unique" radical in its high range Bravia Televisions.
Using expensive "direct LED" backlighting, this 52-incher is capable 3D if you add a 3D kit (integrated 3D choose LX903 Series from Sony), although will cost you a few hundred.
